Fifa World Cup : Poland defeated Saudi Arabia by 2 - 0

Poland's victory is glossed over when Robert Lewandowski scores his first World Cup goal.
A dirty Poland saw off Saudi Arabia with a 2-0 dominance in a match full of show.
On Saturday, Poland's Piotr Zielinski scored in the 39th minute with a smart finish against the flow of play.
Salem Aldawsari had a chance to level the score for Saudi Arabia toward the end of the half, but Wojciech Szczesny brilliantly saved his penalty kick. The follow-up shot from Mohammed Alburayk was also superbly saved by the Polish goalkeeper, who was arguably Poland's best player on the field.
A late goal by Robert Lewandowski, his first World Cup goal, gave polish to a tough Poland victory.
After the game, Saudi Arabia coach Herve Renard stated, "You have to be efficient, but we weren't."But my players make me very proud. We are not yet finished.
Poland has four points after two games, while Saudi Arabia has three. After one match, Mexico and Argentina, which meet later on Saturday, each have zero points.
Riding on the certainty of their success over Argentina and rooted for by a sellout Training City Arena swarm, transcendently in green, Saudi Arabia ruled the game for enormous times of the game. They were, however, kept at bay by Poland's determined defense and inspired goalkeeper performance.
Szczesny's penalty save was the game's turning point. In the first half, when they had Poland on the brink, Saudi Arabia deserved a goal for its efforts. However, the Juventus goalkeeper's double saves deflated them a little bit.
However, the Green Falcons continued to pose a threat throughout the game, and Aldawsari was denied in the 55th minute by yet another sensational leg save from Szczesny.
After that, Poland was able to capitalize on the lingering tension in the stands and the players' dissatisfaction and regain control of the game.
Even though Saudi Arabia's performance was reminiscent of their victory over Argentina in many ways, including the high line, the energy in the midfield, and the speed on the wings, they were vulnerable in transition as Poland hit the woodwork twice, first with a diving header from Arkadiusz Milik and then with a Lewandowski shot from close range.
The Barcelona forward, who is widely regarded as one of the best players in the world, scored in the 82nd minute when he took advantage of a mistake made by Abdullah Almalki in a straightforward one-on-one situation that he finished comfortably.
When Lewandowski celebrated scoring his first World Cup goal, he was overcome with emotion. While teammates rushed to congratulate him, he remained slumped on the field as he raced toward the corner with his arms extended. He stood up, kissed the crowd, and rubbed his face.
Poland will play Argentina next, and Saudi Arabia and Mexico will play Mexico in their final Group C matchup.
