Iran beats wales 10-man team with 2-0

Iran scored twice in the final minute of injury time with a thrilling last-minute win over a            fainted 10-man Wales to keep their hopes of advancing to the knockout rounds of the World Cup for the first time.
With keeper Wayne Hennessy sent off late in the game, Wales appeared to have weathered the Iranian onslaught in Group B at Al Rayyan's Ahmad bin Ali stadium, but substitute Rouzbeh Ceshmi hit the net and Ramin Rezaian finally scored the win.

Iran struggled in the second half, hitting the post twice in a matter of seconds. Sardar Azmoun's shot bounced off Ali Gholizadeh, whose follow-up shot the post and returned to the waiting Azmoun.

Iran, whose World Cup squad had been distracted by domestic political crises, came close again in the 72nd minute when Hennessy scored with a fingertip shot from Saeed Ezatrahi. Leaving his territory, he ran into the oncoming Mehdi Taremi.
