India fought to the end for the big goal of 207, but in the end, Sri Lanka won by 16 runs, going 1-1 for the third straight game. After the top flight collapsed, Axar Patel (65) and Suryakumar Yadav (51) scored his 91-run winning streak on just 40 balls. Axar also combined with Shivam Mavi (26) as he scored 41 runs from 22 balls. But these heroic efforts were not enough for India to cross the line. Previously, Sri Lanka showed great punching power as he threw his 206/6 in 20 overs. Dasun Shanaka hit 56* from just 22 balls and Kusal Mendis hit 52 from 31 balls. Indian pacemakers turned out to be expensive. Arshdeep Singh, bowled five no balls, allowing 37 runs in two overs and Umran Malik allowed 48 runs in four overs. But he took his 3 wickets. Shivam Mavi had 53 runs in four overs.
